Greenpoint
Greenpoint is an incredibly walkable area with long avenue full of shops, bars, and restaurants. Below are some of our favorite spots!
Restaurants
Elder Green: Our fav spot for a burger or to split a Caesar salad and some sweet potato fries
Taqueria Ramirez: Casual street tacos - very yum
Le Fanfare: Little more upscale but good Italian
Cafe Alula: Chill lunch spot for delicious bowl of slop
Five Leaves: Owned by Australian people and have fresh stuff, including weekend brunch
Pizza
Mario’s: Our tried and true
Paulie Gee’s: A spot that’s a little more internet famous
Franklin Pizza: Perfect if you need a slice to take to the waterfront
Salsa Pizza: A Neopolitan spot on an off street with little twinkly lights
Bars
Three’s Brewing: Ideal place to grab a beer to enjoy al fresco
Lake Street: Excellent frozen margaritas and sports watching
Dolly’s: Don’t think we are allowed back here due to their “Jane Fonda,” cocktail, but enjoy!
Little Rascal: Bougie cocktails
Brooklyn Safe House: If you want to play pool and drink cheap beer
Breakfast Sandwiches
Deli Point: Great spot for an egg and cheese on a roll and an iced coffee to go
Blue Light Speakcheesy: More indulgent egg sandwiches with retro feeling decor
Triple Decker Diner: Classic diner for any meal
Other Fun Spots
Word Bookstore: Easy to do some damage here
Transmitter Park: Excellent benches meant for eating pizza and bagels and a look at the skyline
McCarren Park: Grab a coffee and do some people watching on a morning stroll

Dobbin St. Vintage: Eclectic spot to peruse home decor you might buy if you were somebody else
Long Island City
Just over the Pulaski Bridge, Greenpoint morphs into Long Island City: an industrial part of Queens full of newly minted attractions
Bars and Breweries (there are many breweries)
Fifth Hammer: Fun indoor/outdoor vibe
The Gutter LIC: If you would like to bowl on vintage lanes and play some pinball, this is the place
Focal Point: Great beer and Mexican fair
Restaurants
Manetta’s: An school Italian joint for sangria and polpette
On the 7: This is more of a wine bar but they have food and live jazz
Attractions
Hunters Point South: This newly developed waterfront park provides a city view and a ferry stop
Pepsi Cola Sign: A Long Island City trademark - fun to snap a pic with
